Limassol, September 5, 2017– At “Home of the Cyprus Marine Club”, Epsilon a Board Meeting was followed by two engrossing presentations on development and condition of Cyprus Ports given by the Vice Chairman of Cyprus Ports Authority – Mr. Thrasos Tsangarides and General Manager DP World Limassol – Mr. Charles Meaby . Despite the fact that H. E. Minister of Transport, Communications & Works, Mr. Marios Demetriades could not deliver his lecture due to other, top – priority commitments, the Cyprus Marine Club President – Capt. Eberhard Koch and attentive audience demonstrated their appreciation to Mr. Tsangarides and Mr. Meaby by active open discussion afterwards.
The Marine Club’s President, Capt. Eberhard Koch delivered a short address welcoming everyone and advising of Club’s developments and future anticipated events 2017 bringing on together a casual and relaxed platform industry colleagues, associates and friends.
During the address, Capt. Eberhard Koch expressed his contentment with the steady expansion of the Club which now consists of 56 corporate and 7 individual members.
Resignation of Ms. Yvonne Tsanos – Former Club’s Secretary General was announced with regret and heartfelt appreciation for her lasting contribution to ameliorating Cyprus Marine Club standard.
Ms. Julia Paczkowska was also announced to the position of Acting Club’s Secretary General which was proudly accepted.
A beautiful cocktail reception ensued the event success opened to members in the Club’s gorgeous home venue. Thanks to Mr. Marios Nicolaou and his wonderful team at Epsilon !
The next Cyprus Marine Club BOG is expected to be held at Epsilon on 14th November 2017 followed by interesting YAMAL Project Presentation by Capt. Nikolay Spichenok/ Deputy Managing Director – Business Development SCF Management Services (Cyprus).
“Prive Moet Champagne Dinner” was also already scheduled for 1st December 2017 where Members and their spouses will have opportunity to get together before Christmas and the Year’s End.
