Dear All,
There are truly no words to fully express how grateful I am that you placed your trust in us, the Board of Directors, and never doubted that the establishment of our new Club, as a non-profit company limited by guarantee, would be a step toward positive change. I sincerely thank you for that trust.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our generous Sponsors, with whom we’ve built strong and enduring partnerships over the past year. I am deeply aware of just how much we, as a Club, owe to your considered and impactful contributions. We could not have come this far without you.
But of course, at the very core of CMCL, it is our Members who form the true foundation of this organization. It is you who takes ideas and turns them into action. The achievements of this past year stem from the open, calm, and constructive communication that flows through our membership.
The Board of Directors has also worked diligently and productively throughout the year. I want to acknowledge and express my appreciation for the time, dedication, and care each of my fellow Board colleagues has contributed. Board service is often the most demanding volunteer role, and you have embraced it with grace, seriousness, and unwavering commitment.
Someone once wisely said, “Wisdom is knowing what to do next; virtue is doing it.” You, dear colleagues, have demonstrated both wisdom and virtue, and I am truly grateful that you have shared these qualities in service to our Club.
Maintaining open lines of communication between all pillars of CMCL—Sponsors, Members, and the Board of Directors—remains both a priority and a necessity for us to stay strong and connected.
Allow me to conclude this brief report by reaffirming our commitment: no shortcuts are taken. CMCL takes great pride in our reputation for quality, meaningful engagement, and warm hospitality.
But to sustain this energy, we need your continued support.
Some members contribute sparingly, while others contribute generously. Some offer their support quietly, others with a strong, visible presence. Some are hands-on, and others bring ideas and plans. But every single one of you, without exception, is contributing to CMCL’s impact and relevance in Cyprus Shipping—an industry renowned for its resilience.
For this, you all deserve sincere appreciation and recognition.
