Julian Bray heads TradeWinds, the leading global shipping business publication owned by Norway’s DN Media Group, and is the Publisher of its Energy titles.

After studying at Manchester University, Julian embarked on a career in business journalism that has seen him work for daily newspapers, magazines and news agencies, including as a business correspondent for Reuters and Editor of Lloyd’s List for eight years.

He is particularly interested in shipping’s evolving business models, the forces that are driving that change, the industry’s ongoing struggle to manage technological and regulatory change, and the at times difficult relationship with wider social responsibility.
