The Shipping Deputy Minister was interviewed by Mrs. Muriel Matta and shared critical information related to the promotion and modernisation of the Cyprus Maritime Administration and consequently, the expected increase in functionality, effectiveness and flexibility of its services.
Mrs. Pilides discussed the implications of the structural change on the Ministry employees, the industry owners and managers, and stated that the most difficult change she anticipates is the full automation of the Ministry services.
Mrs. Pilides announced a new initiative launched by the Shipping Deputy Ministry and Cyprus Marine Club: a photo competition aimed at raising awareness and getting the public involved.
This big event started at 18:30 and generated further conversations among an enthusiastic audience of the Club members and guests, who explored interesting topics with Mrs. Pilides and continued sharing their thoughts during the cocktail reception that followed.
